Port Fairy is a key feature of the Shipwreck Coast and Great Ocean Road and Home of the internationally renowned Port Fairy Folk Festival. - Pick up a ‘Historic Walk’ map from the Visitor Centre and take a walking tour of 30 historic buildings and locations.
- Watch the local catch being unloaded at Fisherman’s Wharf
- Explore Griffiths Island to see the spectacle of thousands of mutton birds flying in at dusk to feed their young (nesting September–May)

Finding Our Port Fairy Motel
Port Fairy is just three and quarter hours west of Melbourne. Travel by car via the Princes Highway, or take the scenic route via the Great Ocean Road, 6 hour drive. Daily rail and coach services are available from Melbourne.
The Central Motel is located in the middle of Sackville Street, the main street of Port Fairy. The laneway entrance is located next to the Chinese Restaurant which is across the road from Brookes Home Timber and Hardware (also known as Betta Electrical).
