Things to See and Do in Mornington Peninsula

Mornington is a cosmopolitan seaside village with many alfresco sidewalk cafes. The Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery exhibits works by Sir Russell Drysdale and Sir William Dobell. You can wander down to the boat harbour overlooking Port Phillip Bay. Hire a boat for the day or stroll the beach and have a look at the colourful beach boxes. Take a scenic cliff top walk above the red bluffs, taking time to stop at the many lookout points.

The Mornington Peninsula is also home to many wonderful wineries. Morning Star Estate and Moorooduc Estate are nearby. The Mornington Main Street Market is held every Wednesday offering quality arts and crafts.

Finding Our Mornington Accommodation

Mornington is located 52 kilometres south of Melbourne, approximately a one hour drive. As you drive into Mornington just after you pass BUNNINGS hardware on your left you will cross over traffic lights for ‘ Bungower Rd ’, move over to right lane, you will come down a hill and the speed limit will turn to 70km. At next set of lights (Holden left/Mazda right) turn right into MAIN ST, and you will find us not far down on the right hand side of Main Street look for a large sign which look like sails.
