Finding Tweed Heads Motel

Our motel is easy to find, the pink motel on the main road thru Tweed Heads: 123 Wharf St directly opposite the Tweed Heads Bowls Club.

Access by Car from the North
Heading South, the Pacific and Gold Coast Highways merge into one at Tugun, just to the North of Coolangatta airport. Stay in the right hand lane as this road heads south past the airport and you will cross into NSW and start driving on the Tweed Heads bypass. Take the first exit to the left marked Kennedy Drive, Tweed Heads, then left at the roundabout. You are now heading East on Kennedy drive towards Tweed Heads proper. You will then see the bridge over the Terranora Inlet separating Tweed Heads and South Tweed Heads. Don't go under this bridge but stay left instead. Make a right hand merge onto the road coming from the bridge and you will be on Wharf St. The Las Vegas Motor Inn is a few hundred metres to the North after this merge, on the North bound side of the road at 123 Wharf St, Tweed Heads, 2485.

Access by Car from the South
Heading North on the Pacific Highway, cross the Tweed River bridge and head up and over Sextons Hill. The road divides in two, the right hand side going onto the Tweed Heads bypass and the left hand side becomes Minjungbal drive as it goes through Tweed Heads South. Stay left for Minjungbal drive and continue on this road and you will cross the bridge over the Terranora Inlet that separates Tweed Heads from South Tweed Heads. Minjungbal drive becomes Wharf St. The Las Vegas Motor Inn is a few hundred metres to the North of the bridge, on the North bound side of the road at 123 Wharf St, Tweed Heads, 2485.
