Renmark is the main centre for the Riverland region. The Riverland district was transformed by Australia's first irrigation scheme, making it one of Australia's top agriculture areas. Walking trails wind around the River Murray and Banrock Station Wine. The Wetland Centre boasts a spectacular trail around the mallee woodland and down to the wetlands.
