Childers Gateway Motor Inn is a 19 room motel in the Wide Bay/Burnett area; only 30 minutes from Bundaberg, Maryborough and Hervey Bay - "the gateway to Fraser Island".
Our motel has ground floor level rooms with adjacent parking. Other features include an in ground salt water swimming pool, landscaped grounds, open area ideal for children to play, wireless broadband available to all rooms, guest laundry and ample parking for bus, trailer and boats.

The Childers Gateway Motor Inn serves delicious home cooked meals direct to your room. For the convenience of our guests, wine, beer and some mixed drinks are available from reception. Dinner is served between 6.00pm and 7.30pm Monday to Saturday with breakfast served daily between the hours of 7.00am and 8.00am. For guests needing to leave early, a continental breakfast can be delivered to your room the night before.

Childers Queensland is a well preserved historic town on the main road between Brisbane and Bundaberg. Visitors can step back in history as they visit the town's many historical buildings, some dating back to Queensland's early pioneering days. The Childers Pharmaceutical Museum and the Childers Military Museum are specialist museums where the history of particular trades can be explored. The Pharmaceutical Museum is also the Tourist Information Centre.Childers is positioned on a ridge with magnificent views overlooking thousands of hectares of vivid green sugarcane and avocado farms. Nearby Woodgate Beach and Burrum Coast National Park offer an unspoilt coastal playground for visitors seeking peace and quiet.

Visit the unspoilt coastal playground of Woodgate Beach and National Park for a picnic and enjoy the 18km of beach which is ideal for fishing and sailing. There are also a number of walking tracks which are ideal for bird watching.
