We have a Drying room. All of our winter prices include a full hot breakfast. Internet Access is available in our Games Room.

During summer months, Nettin Chalet Motel may be closed for short periods. Forward bookings are essential to assure we are open and available to meet your needs. The licenced restaurant is generally not open during summer, but there are numerous places to eat in Jindabyne within a 2 minute drive.

The current Jindabyne was created in the late 1960s when the original town was relocated by the Snowy Mountains Authority for the Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Scheme. The original town now lies under the waters of Lake Jindabyne. The town is famous as the gateway to ski fields, trout and salmon streams, and Kosciuszko National Park. Polish explorer Paul Strzelecki extensively mapped the wilderness from 1839 to 1843, naming Mt Kosciuszko in honour of a Polish patriot.

We can arrange bookings and ski hire for the coming ski season. We have a ski hire shop two doors away which offers a 15% discount off retail prices of ski hire to Nettin Chalet’s guests. Advance arrangements can be made for lift tickets for Perisher Blue or Thredbo. Lift only passes, lift and lesson passes, and first-timers lift and lesson passes. All can be purchased for 2 day, 3 day or 5 day packages ski packages.

Things to Do around Jindabyne:

During Winter Ski Seasons - Great location to try your hand at skiing and snowboarding at any Snowy Mountains resort. Nettin Chalet is only a 15 minute drive to the Ski Tube or 25 minutes to Thredbo or Perisher.

During Summer - enjoy trout fishing, hiking, horse riding or just relaxing in the carefree atmosphere of Nettin Chalet in the pristine environment of Australia's Snowy Mountains. Ride the High Country like 'The Man from Snowy River'.
