Things to Do in Inverloch and the Bass Coast:

Inverloch is a hugely popular seaside destination southeast of Melbourne at Anderson Inlet on the Tarwin River. This is one of the most dynamic estuaries in Victoria with abundant bird and fish life. Anderson Inlet is shallow with protected waters, providing a haven for wind surfers and other water sports enthusiasts. The Inverloch Motel is in a great position to enjoy this area and guests with boat trailers will find plenty of parking as well as boat ramps nearby.

From Inverloch you can enjoy excellent swimming and surfing in the calm inlet waters ,or you can head out the wilder surf beaches along the Bunurong Coastal Drive where you'll see stunning ocean scenery from Inverloch to Cape Paterson. A drive east from Inverloch will take you the Cape Liptrap Coastal Park and the historic Cape Liptrap lighthouse.

Visit Inverloch in late summer to catch the Food and Wine Festival where you can sample the classic dry table wines of South Gippsland or for the music lovers check out the Inverloch Jazz Festival on the long weekend in March.

Inverloch Motel one and a half hours south east of Melbourne on the South Gippsland Highway. Travel along the South Gippsland Highway from Melbourne, turning onto the Bass Highway to follow the road through Grantville, Bass, Kilcunda and Wonthaggi before reaching Inverloch NSW.
