The historic township of Euroa, nestled at the foot of the Strathbogie Ranges, has a rich history as one of Australia's leading wool growing communities. Today it is the centre of Victoria's thoroughbred horse industry, attracting tourists following the trail of the infamous bushranger Ned Kelly, who together with the Kelly Gang, robbed the Euroa Bank on the 10th December 1878. Locally explore the shopping and eateries along Binney Street or take a ride on Euroa's miniature railway.

Hidden along the banks of the majestic Goulburn River between Seymour, Euroa and Nagambie you can find some delightful local treasures including ancient vineyards, abundant fresh produce and fine dining. Finding Our Euroa Motel

Euroa is approximately one and a half hour's from Melbourne along the Hume Freeway, 150 kms north-east of Melbourne, half-way between Seymour and Benalla. An alternate picturesque route is via the Maroondah Highway between Yea and Merton, turning at Merton and traveling over the Strathbogie Ranges on the Euroa Mansfield Road.
