Manly (Sydney)
Manly is an attractive and exciting seaside village in Sydney's Northern Beaches. Manly is about 10k north-east of Sydney's town centre and easily accessed by ferry from Sydney's Circular Quay. The Manly ferry ride takes you past 2 of Sydney's most famous landmarks; The Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. The whole trip takes around 45 min. If you're in a hurry, the jet cat also runs from Circular Quay and takes 15 mins.
When you arrive in Manly we are only a two minute walk from the ferry terminal, just walk directly across the road from the ferry terminal onto the pedestrian plaza and walk up the left hand side until you get to the new Brighton Hotel, turn left and we are located just around the back of the hotel.
The whole cost of the trip is around $15.
Surrounded on three sides by water, Manly is the perfect destination to enjoy both Sydney Harbour and the amazing ocean beaches, coves and inlets to swim, sail and surf. Manly has long been both a popular Sydney attraction and relaxed seaside suburb. The settlement of Manly dates back to the earliest days of colonial Sydney, and its history is inexorably linked to the ocean and the harbour.
