Toowong QLD is located 5k west of the Brisbane town centre. Toowong is easily reached by train via the Ipswich Line exiting at the Toowong train station located under Toowong Village. Toowong is between Mount Coot-tha and the Brisbane River with a landscape of rolling hills. If you have time, travelling to Toowng by City Cat on the Brisbane River is very pleasant. The Regatta CityCat stops outside the Regatta Hotel on Coronation Drive. Toowong is a midway stop between the Brisbane CBD and the University of Queensland.
