Canberra's Floriade Festival is one of the Australian Capital Territory's most colourful events. Floraide is all about flowers and entertainment. The festival is held annually in Canberra's Commonwealth Park where you find sculptures, art, and displays all built around Australia's wide array of flowering bulbs - because Floriade is derived from the Latin word floriat, which means to decorate with flowers.
Canberra's Floriade Festival is held from mid September to mid October and is the largest flower festival in the Southern Hemisphere with over 300,000 visitors to Floriade each year.
Canberra's Floriade NightFest
Floriade NightFest is a Floriade’s after-dark extravaganza where you'll find Canberra comes alive with live music, comedy and acrobatics performances, shopping, cocktails and movies.
